Solution to disconnection?
Here is my guildies' idea:
When team starts GvG, they leave with 9 players. 9th player is a backup. At the beginning, he is in "dead party memeber" mode, the difference is that he can only switch between NPCs in your base, he isnt visible in party window. When someone is accidentally disconnected from a game, 9th player comes into a game. He controlls disconnected player's character.
ATM i dont have any idea if he should be spawned at the base, or continue play of dc player. He keeps DP and all other stuff.
After battle he comes back to his origin character. This could solve problem of loosing GvG because of disconnect..
Hope it wasn't posted before...

But if u have total dc? I mean if your internet goes down. If u got 007, u can say it to your guildmates on TS/Vent and choose an option of reconnect. If not - backup comes into a game. Maybe freeze game for some period of time? I tried to make up a way to avoid exploits...

A "pool" of members would be a decent idea for people that get error 7 and for the odd case that their internet crashes. The reconnect thing would be nice, but only for a short amount of time, so the team would only be 1 less person for around 30 seconds. I don't, however, like the freeze the game idea, it would get annoying to have your game just pause on you everytime someone drops Starting at the base, or in the largest group of your teammates, would probably work best, but I don't GvG alot, so I don't really know.
Interesting ideas though.
